Discover the Hidden Gem of Hanoi: Dalat Coffee

Nestled on the charming streets of Hai Bà Trưng, Dalat Coffee offers a warm and inviting retreat for coffee lovers and casual visitors alike. This cozy café not only serves up excellent coffee but also fosters an ambiance that's perfect for relaxation or socializing.

Dalat Coffee is renowned for its 100% Arabica beans sourced from the lush hills of Dalat, Vietnam. While some customers note that the roast is on the darker side, many appreciate the rich flavors and strong caffeine kick that comes with it. For those who enjoy a great flat white or an expertly crafted Americano, this café has become a cherished morning staple for many. Barry, a regular who raved about the "best coffee in town," even commented on the affordable pricing, with a mocha or latte costing around 65,000 VND ($2.80) — a steal compared to larger chains!

The atmosphere at Dalat Coffee is a delightful blend of cozy and vibrant, providing a perfect backdrop for casual meetings or solo reflection. With both indoor and outdoor seating, customers can choose to bask in the sun or enjoy the air-conditioned interior, which Tim Vaughan-Spencer described as "comfortable inside or outside." Whether you are looking to dive into a good book or catch up with friends, the space is designed to make you feel right at home.

Moreover, the staff at Dalat Coffee are praised for their friendliness and welcoming nature, making every visit a pleasant experience. As Tina mentioned, the team speaks English well, bridging any language gaps and ensuring that every customer feels appreciated and understood. It's the kind of place where you can grab your coffee, take a seat with your laptop, and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city around you without feeling overwhelmed.

If you are looking for a new coffee spot in Hanoi, Dalat Coffee should be high on your list. With its delightful offerings, inviting atmosphere, and friendly service, it stands out as a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in a cup of their brewed perfection!

In the "Japanese street" as many call (I disagree with that statement) the small crowded coffee shop but it's surprisingly not noisy at all which is exactly what I like. Their coffee is arabica from dalat but it's roasted darker than what I enjoy, highly caffeine so it's up to you to decide. Genuinely really worthy of a shot but unfortunately not my fav one in this area.

Great little coffee bar, serving terrific coffee. One of the few places who make a flat white well too. Roast is quite dark, but great flavours. Also really friendly. Used it for a week or so as my regular morning coffee and workplace for a couple of hours or so.

Great coffee shop. It's always comfortable inside or outside, outstanding coffee. Probably the best in Hanoi. They're also pet friendly.

Best coffee in town. My favorite Americano, mocha, and latte that I've had in Hanoi. I believe the mocha and latte were 65,000 vnd ($2.80), cheaper than Starbucks but much higher quality. The staff are cool and friendly and the cafe has a comfortable vibe.

I prefer robusta. But this 100% arabica coffee here is quite good.
